WHO WE ARE
OUR VISION
To set the standard for how finish work is executed and coordinated.
The final stages of construction carry significant complexity and risk.
Our vision is to bring the same rigor, planning, and accountability to closeout as earlier phases of a project — raising expectations for how finishing work is delivered.
OUR MISSION
To deliver the final layers of construction through skilled teams, disciplined execution, and trusted relationships.
We operate through experienced teams, clear processes, and consistent coordination across finishes, millwork, and casework.
Our mission reflects how we execute work reliably in the field and support project teams through completion.
OUR VALUES
Our values define how we work, how we operate, and the standard we hold.
-
We take ownership of outcomes, adapt to constraints, and solve problems without excuses.
-
We respect the craft, the process, and the people around us. Ego never comes before the work.
-
We care about the details, our work, and our relationships. Trust is earned through consistency.
-
Across disciplines, we operate as one coordinated team. We win together, and we are accountable together.
ABOUT
Aieres brings finishes, millwork, and casework together under one coordinated operating structure.
We operate at the most visible stage of construction, where precision, accountability, and coordination define the final outcome.
Our model reduces risk, protects schedules, and delivers disciplined closeout.
Three disciplines. One standard.
OUR FOUNDATION
Aieres Group is built on the foundation of First Nick Companies, a trusted regional partner with decades of hands-on experience in the finishing trades.
Founded by Nick Kritikos Sr. in the 1980s, the company earned its reputation through hands-on leadership, craftsmanship, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
When his son, Kosta Kritikos, assumed leadership, he expanded that foundation into something more structured and scalable. Credibility was built in the field, project by project, relationship by relationship. Kosta professionalized operations, strengthened multi-trade coordination, and positioned the business to compete on increasingly complex commercial work across New England. What began as a respected painting contractor evolved into a disciplined, multi-discipline finish-phase operation.
Kosta’s brother, Nick Jr., later joined to help build the next chapter of expansion, reinforcing the company’s operational strength and long-term stability.
As the business continued to grow, the need for greater integration and structural clarity became essential.
Under the leadership of Kosta and Maria Kritikos, the company transitioned from First Nick Companies into Aieres, formalizing a coordinated finish-phase platform structured for scale and aligned across disciplines under one performance standard.
As part of that evolution, Maria co-founded the millwork vertical, establishing a women-owned millwork entity, currently pursuing WBE certification, that strengthens the company’s market position and expands its specialized capabilities within the integrated platform.
Shaped by the family’s Greek heritage, pride in the work, responsibility to others, and strength demonstrated through action, these values remain embedded in how the organization operates today.
While the name has evolved, the operating principles remain unchanged: disciplined execution, ownership at every stage, and standards that hold under pressure.
Aieres represents the next chapter, integrated for coordination, positioned for growth, and built to set the standard.
OUR
STANDARD
Finish-phase work demands more than craftsmanship. It requires coordination, discipline, and ownership.
Across finishes, millwork, and casework, we operate under one structure and one performance standard.
One coordinated operating model
Integrated multi-trade alignment
Clear accountability through closeout
Consistent execution across every detail
This approach reduces risk, protects schedules, and ensures a higher level of control in the final phase of construction.
It protects our clients, our partners, and the integrity of the work itself.
WHY
AIERES
Aieres comes from the Greek word aerēs — to lift, to raise, to elevate.
The name reflects both heritage and operating philosophy: a commitment to disciplined execution and a standard that is earned through the work.
Aieres is not about mythology.
It is about standard.
Rooted in Greek foundations.
Defined by disciplined execution.
